Doors of Perception is a performative installation by artist and stage director Martin Butler that plays with the optical illusions of depth and perspective, making each visitor a central performer to the work.
Drawing references from the endless corridors of Stanley Kubrick’s film classic “Shining”, as the visitor enters into a theatrical surrealist space, a twisted reality becomes apparent, where nothing is as it first seems from the outside.
“Doors of Perception” is part of Olympus Photography Playground, Zurich.
